MAR Fund, with the support of the program <\/span>\u201cProtect and restore the natural capital of the oceans, increase resilience and support investments across the region for sustainable blue socioeconomic development\u201d <\/b>(<\/span>PROCARIBE+)<\/b> \u2013 implemented by <\/span>UNDP, GEF, and UNOPS<\/b> \u2013, drives the creation and strengthening of Fisheries Recovery Zones (FRZ) in Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras.<\/span><\/p>

The project seeks to conserve marine biodiversity and promote the sustainability of fisheries in the <\/span>Mesoamerican Reef System (MRS)<\/b>, one of the most important ecosystems in the Caribbean.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
