Specific Projects
Control of Lionfish
This project seeks to fund effective strategies for the control of this invasive species, including awareness campaigns, training for fishermen and divers in capture and handling methods, and field actions that minimize its impact. Each contribution helps coordinate efforts against this threat that affects the balance of the Mesoamerican Reef by preying on native fish populations and altering the ecosystem.

Empowering Fishing Communities
This project will support at least five communities along the Mesoamerican Reef, providing them with tools to strengthen their participation in the responsible management of local fish populations. Investing in them is investing in the health of the ocean and the food security of the region.
